On 19 April 2010 the Regulatory Authority for Electricity and Gas accredited Newtec System as an Energy Service Company (ESCO).
ESCOs offer a concrete response to the necessity for customers in both the private and public sectors to save energy and resources.
ESCOs specialize in providing energy-efficient solutions and spare customers from having to find the financial resources for the project and from assuming the technological risk, since ESCOs take care of designing, building and maintaining the installations supplied. Energy users can avoid the need to make investments, while ESCOs recover their investments and the costs of the services provided through a share of the energy savings achieved thanks to their work.
Accredited ESCOs can be granted Energy Efficiency Credits, or “white certificates”, by the Regulatory Authority for Electricity and Gas on the basis of the energy saving projects supplied.
The decision to pursue this accreditation was the natural development of Newtec System’s evolution as a System Integrator in the field of energy efficiency.
Newtec System is prepared to face the challenges and opportunities of the future ensuring the same levels of quality provided in the past.
